Where will my website be hosted?
We build self-hosted WordPress websites. This means that you will need to buy web hosting for us to transfer your site to when it is ready. We recommend that you purchase web hosting from Siteground. Siteground are a highly reputable company that consistently rank on or near the top of hosting reviews and surveys.
In fact, our own website is hosted on Siteground, as are a large number of our previous clients’ websites. Siteground offer very good value for money and their support is quick and reliable. For a few dollars each month you’ll be good to go.

Will my website look good on mobile devices?
Definitely. With mobile use so prevalent our websites are put through their paces on multiple devices during our rigorous testing phase.
What happens if I want to amend my website later?
Because we build our websites using a popular and well loved theme called ‘Divi’, it’s quite possible that you can update your own site if you take a bit of time to learn how. If you do not wish to update your own site then we are happy to undertake the work for you at a rate of $69/hour.
Who owns my website?
You do! It’s completely yours and you are free to do what you like with it.
Do I need to do anything to maintain my website once its up and running?
WordPress websites need to be kept up-to-date. The most important tasks include updating plugins, updating the theme and updating WordPress itself. It’s quite possible to learn how to do this yourself, or alternatively you can purchase a maintenance package from us.
What if I need a function not included in the template?
If you require extra functionality that you cannot see included in our packages, just let us know and we will offer you a quote for the additional piece of work. The great thing about using WordPress is that anything is possible!
Why do you use WordPress?
We use WordPress because quite simply it is a robust and flexible platform that provides a good foundation for any website project. Of course other options are out there – and some of them serve a purpose – but you’ll find that they don’t offer the same flexibility as WordPress. Neither do they have access to the absolutely huge WordPress plugin library. We feel that as you and your business evolve, so might your website. With WordPress it will always be relatively straight forward to add extra functionality or make other changes.
Are there any extra costs I should know about?
Just the aforementioned maintenance plan, if you choose to go for that.
Why are your prices low?
We’re able to deliver such high quality websites for a relatively low price because we’ve predesigned our website templates. Because of our expertise in the location independent sector, we’ve been able to package up certain types of websites knowing what the key features are that users need. The amazing thing is that even though our websites are predesigned, once they’ve been endowed with your logo, colours, branding, and copy it’s amazing to see how unique each one looks.
How do I pay for a website?
Payment is in advance using PayPal or a card of your choice. Just go to the ’Store’ page and select your payment method.
When will my website be ready?
Websites are typically ready within two weeks of receiving all of the content we need from you. Yes, two weeks!
What about hackers - will my website be secure?
Basically, yes it will, but there is a caveat. We make our websites with good security high on our list of priorities, but it’s very important you do not let plugins, the theme and WordPress itself become out of date by not updating them regularly. That’s why we offer a maintenance package, though you can learn how to do this yourself.
